What is Vegetation Management?

Generally, vegetation management is the practice of taming or removing unwanted plant material such as  trees, branches, bushes, weeds, and vines often to prevent disruption of power and other utilities. 

At Arborico, we focus on vegetation management that supports environmental stewardship by controlling invasive species, and protecting native habitats. Invasive plants can take over causing quality native species to diminish and inhibiting the health of native woodlands and prairies and disrupting the natural balance. Once these invasive species are pushed back mechanically, it's easier to maintain with a combination of mechanical or chemical means. The result is more enjoyable or productive property investment rather than an impassible Midwest jungle.

With forestry mulching, this can be done quickly and with minimal disruption to the surrounding landscape since the brush created does not need to be hauled away or burned on site.
